What is Gradebox?
Faster feedback and standards aligned data
Feedback in minutes, not weeks.
Built around handwritten student work
Give feedback sooner. Know what to teach next.
Give feedback while information is still fresh
Gradebox drafts grades and question-level feedback from scanned student work. You review before sharing, so students can act on feedback before the class moves on.
Plan your next lesson from live classroom data
See where students struggled, which standards need attention, and who needs more support. Know what to revisit with the class or in a small group.
Follow progress beyond one assignment
Track learning standards across assignments and compare follow-up practice with earlier work. See what’s improving and where students still need help.
For school and district leaders
A unified view of every school, classroom, and standard
See how every student is progressing toward their standards across every school, classroom, and teacher.
Standards coverage
See how much of each grade's standards has been tested, and how much students have mastered.
Insights across every classroom
Filter every submission by grade, teacher, class, standard, or score. Save views and share them.
Integrate with all your systems
Connect to your SIS, LMS, and gradebook of record.

A note from our co-founder

Thank you for your interest in Gradebox.
We built Gradebox because so much of what students understand shows up in their handwritten work. How they solve a problem, explain an answer, or work through a mistake gives teachers something valuable to build on. But getting feedback back while the lesson is still fresh can be hard.
Gradebox lets teachers scan that work, review suggested grades and feedback, and share it with students before the class moves on. It also connects results to learning standards, helping teachers see where students need support and plan what to teach next.
In a lot of ways, we're the anti-ed tech, ed tech company. We use AI to bring students back to pencil and paper.
We hope you give it a try.
